We’ve invited the hosts of “Am I Not Here”, the official podcast of the Diocese of Metuchen, to join us to chat (commiserate) about our lives as Catholic communicators. Joining our own hosts, Mary McCusker and Mike Walsh, on this episode are the Associate Director of Communications for the Diocese of Metuchen, Tara Smith, and the diocese’s Media Content Strategist Gerald “Jerry” Wutkowski. The group talks about how they became Catholic communicators (spoiler, they all thought it would be a 9-5 job – they were wrong), how they’ve been working much harder in COVID times and why they created these podcasts. 

It’s a great conversation that offers a little glimpse into the inner workings of diocesan communications departments.
