This week, Talking Catholic returns to the offices of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Camden. We check in with Jose Sanchez, director of community services for immigration, refugee and migrants, and Ryan Collins, summer intern and rising junior at the University of Notre Dame, to discuss their work with Ukrainian and Afghan refugees, helping them navigate the legal system and get established in South Jersey. Also, Jose brings listeners up to speed on Catholic Charities’ new initiative – The Border is Everywhere – and how you can help make a difference. Speaking of which, Ryan talks Catholic Social Teaching and encourages young people not to feel shy about putting their faith in action.
