What’s a DRE? That’s how we led off our chat this week with two great directors of religious education in the Diocese of Camden, the Caso sisters. Lisa is the DRE at The Parish of All Saints in Millville, NJ, and Karen is the DRE at Saint Gabriel the Archangel Parish in Carney’s Point, NJ. For most of their adult lives they have been committed to religious education programs around the diocese and were instrumental in our co-host Mike’s formation as a young adult. The duo talk with us about the effort they put into their religious education programs, the importance of finding ways to make faith a part of your daily life, and also how they are able to keep themselves educated and energized. It’s a great chat that wanders into all sorts of areas!
