What if God’s silence isn’t rejection but preparation?

We assume that if God loved us, He would have answered by now.

But Jesus stayed where He was two more days when He heard that Lazarus was sick. Lazarus died, and then Jesus walked into that tomb and called him out because God wasn’t late.
