- If possible, make a regular Holy Hour in your week as part of your routine. Keep to it the same time each week. Almost like a permanent date between you and the Lord.
- Sometimes one hour a week may not be possible. In this case make a realistic amount of time in your week to visit the Chapel. If that’s 5, 10 mins, that is great! More, even better! But be realistic with yourself.
- Pray for the youth that you shepherd before the Lord. Bring their needs and names to Him.
- Be open to inspirations for your ministry during this time of prayer.
- Somehow when we give our time to God he multiplies it! He’s God so he can do that! But seriously, the day goes smoother when we include Him in it!
- If you’re in a Chapel alone, don’t be afraid to talk out loud in prayer.
