- Have a regular time of day which you pray. Consistency helps.
- Don’t be afraid to be spontaneous. I.e. instead of killing time on a newsfeed or texting while waiting in line at store, you say a decade of the rosary.
- Listen. Sometimes we don’t have to do all of the talking.
- Try different prayer devotions to the Blessed Mother, saints, novenas, etc can help expose you to different ways to pray.
- Thank first, then ask. Start each of your prayers by thanking God for something that day or moment in your life.
